Installing Corner Base Kitchen Cabinets. There are three ways to handle corners. When it's time to install base cabinets, start on the same wall and corner where you installed the wall cabinets.
Starting with a corner, use the guides you marked on the walls to transfer the stud locations to the cabinets, taking care to account for the face frame. If it's not sitting level, use shims to correct the tilt. Using the clamps, align and join the cabinets.
Find the best spot where to install the kitchen cabinet.
If it joins a short run and a long run, take up most of the discrepancy on the short side and let the long run sit tight to the wall.
The horizontal line on the wall is your main guide. If it's not sitting level, use shims to correct the tilt. The line on the floor is your secondary guide.
